Henti Tugas LRA – Air Selangor

Air Selangor ingin memaklumkan henti tugas sementara empat loji rawatan air iaitu Loji Rawatan Air Rantau Panjang (LRA Rantau Panjang) serta Loji Rawatan Air Sungai Selangor Fasa 1 (LRA SSP1), Loji Rawatan Air Sungai Selangor Fasa 2 (LRA SSP2), dan Loji Rawatan Air Sungai Selangor Fasa 3 (LRA SSP3) berikutan insiden pencemaran bau di Sungai Kundang dan Sungai Sembah.

Berikutan henti tugas empat LRA tersebut, tujuh wilayah Air Selangor iaitu Petaling, Klang, Shah Alam, Gombak, Kuala Lumpur, Hulu Selangor dan Kuala Selangor telah mula mengalami gangguan bekalan air tidak berjadual. Senarai kawasan yang terjejas adalah seperti berikut.

Air Selangor sedang berusaha sedaya upaya untuk meminimumkan impak kepada para pengguna. Bantuan alternatif melalui lori-lori tangki air akan digerakkan ke kawasan-kawasan yang terjejas, dengan memberikan keutamaan kepada premis-premis kritikal seperti hospital, klinik, pusat dialisis dan upacara pengebumian sepanjang tempoh gangguan bekalan air tidak berjadual ini.

Air Selangor akan memaklumkan perkembangan berkaitan dengan insiden ini dari semasa ke semasa menerusi semua medium khususnya media massa. Air Selangor would like to inform on the temporary shutdown of the Rantau Panjang, Sungai Selangor Phase 1 (SSP1), Sungai Selangor Phase 2 (SSP2), and Sungai Selangor Phase 3 (SSP3) Water Treatment Plants (WTPs) following an odour pollution incident at Sungai Kundang and Sungai Sembah.

Following the temporary shutdown at these four WTPs, seven Air Selangor regions which are Petaling, Klang, Shah Alam, Gombak, Kuala Lumpur, Hulu Selangor and Kuala Selangor regions are experiencing unscheduled water disruption. The list of affected areas is as listed.

Air Selangor is doing our best to mitigate the impact to the consumers. Alternative assistance through water tankers has been mobilised to the affected areas by giving priority to critical premises. Air Selangor is taking every effort to minimise the impact of disruptions on affected users.
